ASSYX GmbH & CO. KG is based in western Germany, approximately 130 km northwest of Frankfurt am Main, in the town of Andernach on the Rhine. Due to its rich deposits of magmatic rocks, the Andernach area has been associated with concrete production for decades. Many projects have been developed and implemented here in the field of machinery and equipment for the production of concrete and precast concrete products. The technology-oriented tradition continues also in the highly modern ASSYX plant, which is the leading manufacturer of patented production boards for vibro-presses.

Blaty produkcyjne ASSYX Duroboard powstały w wyniku ponad dwuletniej, ścisłej współpracy z firmą Bayer Material Science AG (dzisiaj Covestro Deutschland AG) oraz fińskim dostawcą płyt drewnianych – firmą Metsäwood.

The rigid core of this board is a multi-layer laminated wood board (trade name Kerto-Q). The core is factory-coated with a high-quality, two-component synthetic material, Baydur® polyurethane, developed by Bayer exclusively for ASSYX.

After completing research and a series of trials, a fully automated production line was installed in the 1,600 m2 halls, which has already produced more than 1,500,000 boards since 2006.
